Poppy Field was inspired by a secluded harvest of pink poppies nestled within the Marlborough Downs. The composition is immersive, laying the viewer down within in field, the eye pulled towards the dappled light by the strength of the bold lines of the poppy leaves. Warm gold and Naples yellow compliment the dusty pink and crimson poppies to create a mellow and yet vibrant colour palette, designed to warm and energise both traditional and modern spaces.
