The heavy snow of January redefined the compositions I usually see in this woodland on the edge of Marlborough. The young beech trees, still holding onto their bronze leaves, heavy with snow, revealed a new forest.
This composition, inspired by my love of Japanese painting, pulls the viewer into the woodland, weaving the eye through the forest floor, up to the winter blue beech tree canopy.
Oil on Canvas | 90cm x 80cm
Really interested in the size, colours and feel of this picture. Is it still for sale. If not, do you have anything similar?
Hi Ant, I’m afraid this piece is now sold. I will email a list of available pieces with price list to you, as well as commission details.
Thank you
